" We witness a miracle every time a child enters into life. But those who make their journey home across time and miles, growing within the hearts of those who wait to love them, are carried on the wings of destiny and placed among us by God's very own hands" --Kristi Larson

On Our Way!

Up at 5AM.  Slept like a log last night to my surprise...after we got Kellan and Kaylie back in bed. Kellan was sobbing last night...so tough. Kaylie was just restless. This morning boys were teary eyed and didn't want to make eye contact (they'd lose it). Kaylie must have been prepared or just with the excitement of getting a sister because she couldn't get us out the door fast enough. She must have said "Bye Daddy, Bye Mommy" like 10 times!
Kyle gave us a wonderful good-bye surprise.  In true Kyle fashion, he used his Legos to build an airplane with a Mommy and Daddy traveling, suitcase in hand, waving with the other.  So Sweet!  Mommy almost lost it!
In Chicago right now.  We got to meet up with Matt's Uncle Ray who is also flying to China but on an earlier flight and to a different part of China.
Just about to board for our 15 1/2 hour flight!  Wish us luck!!

Hi Matt and Sherri! I was so thrilled to hear you are finally on your way to get your little girl! We bumped into your Mom & Dad and your kids tonite, everyone appeared to be doing well. I know it has to be so hard to be away from your kids for so long. Of course you know they are in very good hands and will be kept busy until you return. Please know you all are in our thoughts and prayers, especially little Kelina as she transitions into her forever family! I'm looking so forward to following your journey. Enjoy China!
