In Hong Kong

We survived the long 15 1/2 hour flight!  Of course I had a seat next to a man who had a head cold, so I was practically sitting on top of Matt the whole trip afraid I'd get the guys cold.  Got to watch lots of good movies.  The Date Night was a fun movie if you're looking for a cute couples movie.  We did okay sleeping with our neck pillows and airline blankets.  My legs kept falling asleep and waking me up, but really was a good flight.  United did a great job with their service, meals, etc.  We landed at 5:30 on Saturday Night (HK time or morning US time).  Just so you know, we are exactly 12 hours ahead of Pittsburgh.  Matt wore his Brazil soccer shirt yesterday (Fri when they were playing) and received a lot of sympathy from the airline stewardesses. Now today He is going to wear his Paraquay soccer shirt to cheer that team on! Stephanie we are thinking of you cheering your team on!

Navigated our way to the hotel and then to the Peak in Hong Kong.  Everyone is very helpful.  They don't just give you directions, they actually escort you to your taxi, room, etc.  Going on the Tram to the Peak was our first taste of culture.  The Tram is historic and very much like our Pittsburgh Incline.  The wait for the Tram was very crowded and there is no such thing as personal space.  Lots of bumping and cutting in line.  The view at the Peak was gorgeous!  A beautiful night to see the city lit at night.  Matt and I had supper at the Cafe Deco restaurant.  Excellent dishes:  Singapore fried noodles and a fried rice dish.

Got to skype a few times already with kids.  Had some trouble with webcam back home but Grandpap got it up and running.  Kids are doing well for Gramma and Pap, having fun swimming, going to movies, restaurants, etc.  Thank you guys for taking such great care of the kiddos.
