Oh yeah - also on Monday, we hiked over to the White Swan Hotel (about a 20 minute walk) to meet up with some friends for dinner. Darrell and Tracy Adcock are here with three teenage children to adopt 5-year-old Jing Shu. Since Jing Shu was from the same region as Lina, they were with us in Nanning last week and we struck up a good relationship with their family. We did dinner at Lucy's, an American-style restaurant just down the street from the White Swan hotel. After dinner, we headed back to the White Swan's playroom, where the girls spent some very good time together.
