Journey to Our China Princess

In September 2009, I was so disappointed with the waiting and worried that we would continue to put more money out only to never have the dream to adopt be fulfilled for us. I came across a blog for a women named Amy who had adopted and her post that day brought tears to my eyes. She wrote how passionate she was to help Children waiting in China find their family, and she encouraged all of us to continue to fight to find our child. She emailed me and told me how wonderful her agency was in helping and encouraged me to keep trying and not to give up.

I went to our church's women's retreat with the pressing question as to whether Matt and I needed to walk away from the "dream". God gave me the word REMAIN. After lots of tears, I knew that I had to REMAIN in God and trust Him to bring our daughter to us..REMAINing in our WAIT!
